Geographical Setting
Ernei is situated along the Călușeri Stream, which flows into the Mureș River on its left bank. The village of Ernei is located 10 km north of Târgu Mureș along the Târgu Mureș-Sighișoara route. It borders Dumbrăvioara and Sângeru de Pădure to the north, Icland and Săcăreni to the east, Sângeorgiu de Mureș Municipality to the south, and the Mureș River to the west.
