Acățari is located at the crossroads of important routes, 12 kilometers from Târgu Mureș, marking the boundary between Lower and Middle Niraj Valley. Its favorable geographical location has significantly influenced the village’s development, helping it maintain a relatively stable population over the centuries.
Transportation infrastructure
The municipality of Acățari consists of 9 villages: Vălenii, Roteni, Găiești, Suveica, Gruișor, Stejeriș, Corbești, and Murgești. Acățari, Găiești, and Vălenii are located along the E60 road. Murgești and Stejeriș are situated along a county road, while the other villages are accessible only by lower-category roads.
